Southwest Insurance Agency was started on September 17, 2001. Our first office was located at 19 E. Divide in Bowman, ND. In December 2003 the office was moved to 105 S. Main Street in Bowman. In July 2006 we moved to 105 South Main Street in Bowman, ND.

In December 2001, Steve Hedstrom was hired and we opened the Hettinger office in the basement of Steve's home. In July 2003, Steve bought a building at 219 South Main in Hettinger, ND and moved the office in September.

In May of 2005, Warren and Jesse bought a building at 38 West Main Street in Hazen, ND and at that time Jesse became an agent for Southwest Insurance Agency.

June 1, 2007 brought a name change from Southwest Insurance Agency to Western Frontier Insurance Agency, Inc. This was brought about due to being able to register the name with the North Dakota Secretary of State and Incorporate.

Western Frontier Insurance Agency will strive to be the best professional insurance agency in the marketing areas it services. Each product provided by the agency has an agent who specializes in that line of insurance. In doing this we will always concentrate on service to our clients, knowledge of our products, risk management and claims services.

We also continue to seek out new and keep our current contacts with superior underwriting companies.
